Karwar: BJP District President Venkatesh Nayak has said that the Central Government has succeeded in banning the PFI organisation in the country and it is the right decision.

Addressing a press conference at the ciyty’s press hall, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Central Defense Adviser Ajit Doval have banned the anti-national organisation PFI and 8 other organizyations for 5 years, which is a good development.

He said that Muslim leaders themselves have welcomed the ban on such organisations, which were carrying out anti-national activities by bringing money from abroad through hawala, he said.

“Siddaramaiah is the reason for the increase in the killing of Hindus in Karnataka. Earlier, during the Congress rule in the State, the then Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had released 1600 accused in 174 cases. More Hindus were killed due to this. An example of this is the murder of Praveen Nettaru at Bellare. He also said that PFI was behind the disturbance of peace.
Muslim organisations which were active only in Bhatkal in the District now has spread across the District. Thus, in a few years, their network spread across the country, gathering strong witnesses and attacking 20 states simultaneously. He said that as there is evidence against the arrested persons, they cannot be released at present. After the killing of Praveen Nettaru, there was a heavy demand to ban the PFI organisation. The Home Minister Araga Jnanendra had made a statement that if the organisation is banned, it will come back with a different name.

Answering the journalist’s question whether it will not happen now, the situation was the same then. Even now, if they come with another organisation, the BJP government will level that, he added.

District BJP Spokesperson Nagaraj Nayak, BJP District Secretary Usha Hegde, Media Prakoshta Manager Navina Ayodhya and N. S. Hegde were present.
