Kasaragod: Couple found dead in lodge

Kasaragod: An interfaith couple, who had gone missing, was found dead at a lodge here.

The deceased have been identified as Sindhu (36) of Kallur’s Pulikuliya, and KM Mohammed Shareef (40), an autorickshaw driver from Rajapura Kalluru.

Both families filed a missing complaint after the couple went missing on January 7.

According to sources, the couple checked into a hotel in Guruvayoor on January 18. The next day, hotel staff knocked on the door to inquire about their welfare as they had checked into the hotel but had not left their room.

The duo was found hanging from the ceiling fan by the staff when they peeked through the window.

According to sources, Shareef is married with three children and Sindhu is married with two children.
