Kasaragod: In a tragic incident, a young woman, who suffered serious burn injuries after being set on fire, succumbed to her injuries near Poinachi.
She is the daughter of Ratnakar Nair of Bara Adkattabail near Poinachi. The deceased has been identified as Rashmi (23).
On January 21, a fire broke out in her father-in-law’s house in Berka and she was admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru with burn injuries.
Adoor Police has registered a case.
