Kasargod: In a tragic incident, a mother died by suicide along with her three-month-old infant by jumping into a well at Neeleshwara here on Monday October 18.
The deceased woman has been identified as Ramya (31) of Kadinhamoole. Despite family members and neighbours’ attempt to save the duo by rescuing and shifting them to hospital, the doctors declared that the mother and child were brought dead to the hospital.
It is said that the woman was allegedly suffering from anxiety and depression. Neeleshwara police has registered a case.
