Kundapur: On Sunday August 1, a fishing boat going out to the sea after the beginning of the fishing season capsized near Gongolli port in the taluk here.
The boat was later tugged to the shore by two motorized boats and all four fishermen were rescued.
According to reports, president of the local fishermen co-operative society, Sadashiv Kharvi said that the sea area near the port has remained undredged for years causing problems to the movement of boats.
