71st annual Ganeshotsava celebration begins at Sanganiketan

ganesh sanghaniketan 1Mangaluru: The Keshav Smriti Samvardhana Samithi, the 71st annual Ganeshotsava’s celebrations inaugural ceremony was held on Thursday, September 13 at Sanganiketan on the occasion Ganesha Chaturthi.

Sri Gokuldas Barkur lit the lamp and inaugurated the programme. The statue of Lord Sri Mahaganapati was brought to Sanghaniketan through a grand procession, followed by a Ganahoma.

Raghuvir Kamath of Keshava Smriti Samvardhan Samiti, Praveen Kumar, Chairman of Public Sree Ganeshotsava Committee, K Rao, Balakrishna Kottari, Santosh Shetty, K P tailor, Vinaya Netra, Dr. Vaman Shenoy, P Yas. Prakash, Mangalore South MLA, Vedavyas Kamath, Mangalore North MLA, Dr. Bharath Shetty, Committee Secretary Satish Prabhu, Vyarraj Shenoy, Bharat Raj, Harshavardhan, Suresh Kamath, Treasurer Yas R Kudva were present during the occasion.

This Ganeshotsava programme will be held at Sanganiketan for 5 days.
