Mangaluru: In order to draw the attention of the government and as a mark of opposition to the Yettinahole project, the Netravati Samrakshana Samiti will be organising an all religion Netravati pooja ceremony and a protest march on October 27 from 4pm.
The protest march will be taken out from Thokkottu Bus Stand to Netravati River. The puja will be offered on the banks of the river in Ullal.
President of the Samiti K Ravindra Shetty Ulidottu informed that the rituals will be performed by Honorary Guide of the Samiti Rev Fr Dr John Baptist Saldanha, seer Sri Rajashekharananda Swamiji and Moulana Yahya Tanjhal.
He urged the people of the undivided Dakshina Kannada district to participate in the protest irrespective of all barriers and fight for the future before it gets too late.
