Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Police have apprehended three individuals, namely Mohammad Shafi from Haveri, Munavar from Bengaluru, and Iltyaz from Delhi, for allegedly raising ‘pro-Pakistan’ slogans in Karnataka Vidhana Soudha.

The arrests occurred on Monday, following recent claims by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) accusing supporters of Congress leader Dr. Syed Naseer Hussain of similar actions after his victory in the Rajya Sabha elections.

Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar had shared on February 28 that “Pakistan Zindabad” slogans were raised in the Karnataka state assembly post Hussain’s re-election.

In response, the BJP Karnataka has cited a forensic report from Clue4 Evidence Forensic Investigations Private Limited, asserting that the Congress party disseminated false information.

The BJP called on Karnataka Congress and Priyanka Kharge, the alleged head of the fake news factory, to acknowledge the reported incident and seek forgiveness from the Legislative Assembly and the public.
