B. Voc department of SDM dedicates ‘Ye Sham Mastani’ to musician Rahman

Mangaluru: “A R Rahman is an extraordinary talent of the Indian music industry. A R Rahman, popularised all genres of music in India with the right desi touch,” said professor Dr. N.K. Padmanabha.

He was recently speaking at the pakoda tales event organized by the Bachelor of Vocational Education (B. Voc) Digital Media & Film Making Division of SDM Degree College, Ujire.

The second event, Ye Sham Mastani of Pakoda Tales, was dedicated to musician Rahman. His contribution to the music was recalled on this occasion. Varun Rao, flute artist of Mangaluru entertained music lovers by playing A.R. Rahman’s popular songs.

Anthony and Murari, students of the B. Voc Digital Media & Filmmaking division sung the self-composed songs. The program was attended by the faculty and students of the department of B. Voc.
