Udupi: Udupi District in-charge Minister and State Minister for Urban Development Vinaykumar Sorake, has urged service organizations to come forward to provide educational aid to children hailing from poor families.
He was speaking as a chief guest at the inaugural of Udupi District Billava Yuva Vedike, at a function held at the Sri Narayana Guru Sabha Bhavan here on June 16, Sunday. The Vedike was inaugurated by Sri Vikhyatananda Swamiji of Sri Gurukripa Sevashrama, Hosmar.
Billawa Yuva Vedike President Dr Satish Poojari Sastana, presided over the inaugural function. Karkala MLA Sunil Kumar, former district minister Kota Srinivas Poojari, Ashok Suvarna, President of Katapady Sri Vishwanatha Kshetra, Narayana Kotian, President of Bannanje Billawa Sangha and others were present.
