Mangaluru: The Block Congress committee has raised objection against the recently constituted MCC ward committee’s provisional list for being less transparent.
The delegation under the leadership of former Corporator, Prakash B Salian Mangalore city block congress committee, south block committee, and north block committee jointly has appealed to the commissioners to correct the provisional list of the ward committee.
Congress committee members demanded to publish the list of all the over 1000 applicants who have filed objections and then released the list. Otherwise, a legal fight is inevitable, they warned.
South Block President K Abdul Saleem, former deputy mayor Mohammed Kunjat Bail, congress leaders Rakesh Devadiga, Sunil Poojary, Jayaraj Kotyan, and others were present.
