Kerala: In a tragic incident, a bus fell into a river killing three persons, including the cleaner on the spot.
The incident took place at Panoor-Tellicherry, Kerala on Tuesday, December 12.
The deceased are Prajeeth, Jithesh and Hemalatha, all residents of Kuthuparamba. It is said that the bus had only four people in it when the incident took place.
Driver of the bus identified as Devaraj sustained severe injuries and is recuperating at a hospital.
The bus plying from Bengaluru to Tellicherry first hit the bridge and then fell into the river at Perangathur here.
The operations to pull out the wrecked remain of the bus from the river is on.
