CCB police arrest accused with MDMA synthetic drug

Ullala: The Mangalore CCB Police, acting on a tip-off regarding the purchase of the drug MDMA from Bengaluru and its subsequent sale to the public in the KC Road area of Talapadi village in Ullala taluk, successfully apprehended Mohammad Rafiq B (40) in possession of the prohibited substance. Upon his arrest, law enforcement officials discovered a total of 50 grams of MDMA (Methylene dioxy methamphetamine), valued at Rs. 2,50,000/-, along with cash amounting to Rs. 8,000, one mobile phone, and a digital weight scale.

The total value of seized assets was Rs.2,68,500. A case has been registered against the accused in Sen Crime Police Station. Many more people are involved in this narcotics network and their search is on.

ACP PA Hegde of CCB Unit, Police Inspector Shyam Sundar HM, PSI Rajendra B, Sudeep MV, Sharanappa Bhandari, Narendra and CCB personnel were present in the detection of this drug network.
