Child Prodigy Poorvi Blessed with Multi-Skills

Mangalore: A little girl – Poorvi K Rao, living in the city, who has been embodied with extraordinary talent to stage variety of skills.  She is the student of Mount Carmel Central School, Mary Hill, here is a child prodigy, singer, comperer and fancy dress artiste.  She is the personification of many talents.  She is good in studies and has keen interest in all activities.

Poorvi who was the child prodigy since her age of two-years, bagged several prizes all though because of her parents keen support.  She made her debut in Champion of Champions dance competition that was organized by Future Group at Big Bazaar, here during 2010, which was her major feat in life.  As a result, she was chosen as model for Costume Cottage, fashion shop located at Urwa Store, here.  Since then, she has bagged several prizes for her inborn talent.

She was crowned as Jaycees Princess – 2010 during Jaycees Prince and Princess Competition held at Town Hall, here.  She was awarded Little Master Mangalore Award – 2011 that was held at Big Bazaar.  She secured first prize in Sri Krishna costume competition that was organized by Kalkura Foundation at Kadri Temple, here during 2011, and again she along with her mother bagged second place in the national level Yashoda – Krishna competition.

The jurors of dance reality show that was telecast by ETV for children below the age of 12 years commended the dance skills of Poorvi.  She was one among the five finalists who have exhibited their dance skills in western, bollywood, classical, semi classical, katak and tappanguchi.  The visual media that was impressed by the talent in Poorvi, employed her as anchor in Putani – Batani programme by city based Sahaya TV. Besides, she is also anchoring Chinnara Chilipili programme in Udaya TV. 
The city based music and cultural Committee, Samata Balaga Mangalore, Shastry Foundation Kulai, Lions Club – Mangalore, Subramanya Sabha Sadana – Mangalore, Oshind Friends Club – Akash Bhavan, Kadri Friends – Mangalore others honored Poorvi for her extraordinary talent.  Lions Club – Mangalore awarded Youth Talent Award 2011 -12.x

Poorvi who has bagged over 175 awards likes bollywood actor Amin Khan.  She is known as Chota Madhuri Dixit who is learning western dance at Boy Zone Dance Academy and classical dance with maestro Pratima Sridar.  Kudos to Poorvi’s talent indeed.
