Mangaluru: In a devastating incident at Dr. Shivram Karanth Biological Park in Pilikula, a fierce confrontation between two majestic felines resulted in the untimely demise of the renowned 15-year-old Tigress, Nethravathi. The unfortunate incident occurred on Sunday, June 4, 2023.
Zoo authorities confirmed that Nethravathi succumbed to her injuries this morning, following an intense battle with a four-year-old Tiger named Reva. The fight, which took place within the confines of the park, turned fatal for Nethravathi, who sustained grave wounds during the encounter.
