Kasaragod: In a group clash between two club teams, one died due to stabbing while two others were grievously injured in Bovikanam on December 1.
Abdul Khadar (19), a resident of Povval is the deceased while Hafiyad (22) and Sattad (22) are the grievously injured.
The clash took place near Bovikanam market at around 4.30 pm in the evening. Three youth were injured due to stabbing among whom Abdul Khadar succumbed in a hospital at Karasargod.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Thomson Jose and other officials rushed to the spot immediately and have taken precautionary measures to prevent further clashes between rival teams.
