Bantwal: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has agreed to convene a meeting involving all stake holders to discuss all the pros and cons with regard to Yettinahole project at his home office- ‘Krishna’, on December 26, said Minister for Forest and Ecology B Ramanth Rai.

After offering ‘Bagina’ (floral offering) to river Nethravathi in Thumbe , Ramantah Rai said, all MLAs under the jurisdiction of the project have been invited for the meeting including the leaders opposing the project. Since officials had convened a meeting earlier in Mangaluru, this time the meeting will be held in the state capital.

There should not be any politics with regard to the project and even Rajya Sabha member Oscar Fernandes will be attending the meet.

Certain BJP leaders who were hellbent on executing the project are now up in arms against the same and are holding needless processions, Rai ridiculed.

He questioned the BJP for not moving adjournment motion against the project in the state assembly and concluded by saying that he has no personal intention to politicise the issue.
