Mangaluru: Congress staged protest alleging that the BJP Government is misusing the Enforcement Directorate in order to harass Gandhi family
The Congress workers staged a protest in this regard here in the City on Friday June 17. Protest march from Falnir’s SL Mathais Park to IT office in Attavar was taken out. Police stopped the protesters midway and also tightened security at IT Office.
Congress workers raised slogans against the Central Government. Congress Leaders B. Ramanath Rai and Ivan D’Souza among others took part in the protest. Congress workers also tried to barge into IT Office, and were detained by the Police Personnel.
