Kasargod: A CPM leader who was recently caught on CCTV camera allegedly robbing the house of an entrepreneur living abroad has been arrested by the Neeleshwara police here on Friday.

The leader is said to have been in hiding all this while and was arrested from his hideout based on a tip off from sources.
During the interrogation he has admitted to having been involved in several other theft cases. He was also involved in a gold theft that took place in May, 2015 from a house in Thrikkaripura.
The CCTV footage which surfaced recently and went viral in the media had showed the face of the stranger in a white dhoti and shirt clearly.
However, the images were clear enough to recognise that the stranger was none other than the renowned CPM leader. Instantly, the CPM had ousted the leader in question.
