Demolition of Panjimogaru prayer centre: Two arrested, sent to judicial custody

Mangaluru: Two have been arrested in connection with the demolition of a prayer centre at Panjimogaru a few weeks ago.

The arrested have been identified as Latheesh (28), a resident of Bajpe, and Dhananjay (36), a Kodikal resident. The duo were produced before the court, and have been sent to judicial custody.

The prayer centre was razed on February 5. It is alleged that Sri Satya Korddabbu Seva Samithi entered the compound of the prayer center and demolished the building, compound wall in violation of court’s stay order. The prayer centre is run by St. Antony Church, Kulur.
