Mangaluru: Dr K. V. Rajendra, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, DK District, Mangalore visited KIOCL Plant Unit at Panambur, Mangalore. A request was made by KIOCL Ltd., to attend the CSR function/activity of the Company as well as unveiling of ‘Disaster Management Manual’, at Resource Centre, KIOCL Ltd., Panambur, Mangalore.
He was extended a warm welcome by T. Saminathan, Chairman-cum-Managing Director alongwith senior officers of the Company, at the entrance of KIOCL Admn. Building, Panambur, Mangalore.
He visited Model Room, Conference hall, where he observed the functions and process of Pellet Plant Unit. He gave a green Signal to the newly purchased Fire Tender vehicle for its operation at Pellet Plant unit, Panambur, Mangalore, by CISF (Fire) personnel. He was also shown the main Plant Units at Pellet Plant Unit, Panambur, Mangalore.
An official function was arranged at Resource Centre, KIOCL Ltd., Panambur, Mangalore, and Deputy Commissioner being the Chief Guest, in connection with handing over of Cheque of Rs.15.00 Lakhs for construction of building for Red Cross Society, at Mangalore City and Personal Computers to District/Taluk Health Office, Mangalore, under CSR activities of the Company as well as unveiling of ‘Disaster Management Manual’, prepared and published by KIOCL Ltd., as per the guidance of Vijay Kumar, Disaster Management Professional, DK District, Mangalore, who is also present on the occasion. T. Saminathan, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, KV Bhaskara Reddy, Director(P&P), senior officers of the Company, representatives of Unions and Associations were present in the programme.
Welcoming Dr KV Rajendra, Dy. Commissioner, as Chief Guest of the programme, S. Murgesh, Sr. Manager (HR & Co-ord) also briefed about him and wished him all success in his future professional career.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr KV Rajendra, Dy. Commissioner, impressed on the KIOCL facilities at Mangalore unit and appreciated its efforts and services to the Society and wished KIOCL Ltd., to flourish further and reach the pinnacle at the earliest.
