Mangaluru: The religious festival, Dharma Nemotsava of the lower Kunjadi Taravadu mane, which has been stopped for sixty years, will be held on April 8 and 9.
The nemotsava will be held under the leadership of Bimbalaguthu Megina Kunjadi and lower Kunjadi mediators. Due to the pandemic, we are giving up the cultural programs and conducting a two-days fest instead of four days, said Manila Mohanadasa Paramahansa Swamiji
He was speaking at a press conference in Mangaluru on Friday April 2. He said that the 13 Parivara Daiva Nemotsava along with Rakteshwari and Pilichamundi will be held as a divine rule. Due to the breaking up of the joint family, the religious fest has not been held for 60 years. It had to take place once in 12 years, he added.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said that precautionary measures for Covid will be taken during the fest.
BJP president of DK Sudarshan Moodbidre, Ravishankar Mijar and Kasturi Panja were present.
