Mangaluru: The District’s reputaion has taken a beating due to Hijab row, and moreover, to make things worst the District Administration has been a mute spectator, said Mangaluru MLA U. T. Khader.
Speaking to mediapersons on Saturday March 5, Khader said that keep the religion and caste aside and think is it right that girls are treated in the manner they are treated in the Hijab row. The educational institution principals and management should take necessary action while the boys misbehave with the girls, he said and demanded for action against those who create disharmony.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rajendra K. V. must appoint high level officers to investigate Hijab row that occurred at Car Street college, he added.
