Mangaluru: Dr. Srinivas Kakkilaya has served a legal notice to the Mangaluru IMA, demanding justice and action against the procedure used by the organisation. According to the notice, the action against Dr. Kakkillaya was initiated without adequate inquiry by the local IMA.
One of the sources from Mangaluru IMA said that, “We have not passed any judgement against him, but his action. If there is a legal issue, we too will respond, legally.”
Speaking to NewsKarnataka Dr. Srinivas Kakkilaya said that, “The Mangaluru IMA has been served with a legal notice. People should always investigate both sides of the story, and what the local IMA has done is unethical. The IMA took action against me without first hearing me. They took it to social media, and that is how I proceeded with the legal process. As a result, I will take the following step because I need justice, and whatever has occurred to me should not occur to anybody else in the future.”
He also said that the national IMA regrets the local IMA’s conduct and he will file a complaint with the National IMA and the State IMA against the local IMA.
