Mangaluru: P Vijayan, Senior Intelligence Officer, working in the Mangalore Unit of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence will retire on attaining supperannuation, on November 30, after having served for 36 years. Vijayan joined DRI Mumbai in the year 1981 and was part of the DRI Regional Unit, Mangalore since its inception in 1988. Vijayan, SIO, had associated and taken active part in all the major achievements of the DRI Unit during the last few years.
He was conferred with the Presidential Award of Appreciation Certificate for Specially Distinguished Record of Service on the occasion of the Republic Day in 2008.
