Mangaluru: A total of eight persons from the Dakshina Kannada district tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday, June 5.
With this, the total number of confirmed cases in the district has risen to 151. Of the eight persons who tested positive for the disease today, seven had recently returned from Maharashtra. One person’s contact is under tracing.
Of the 151 cases in the DK district, 76 have been discharged from the hospital after recovery and seven have succumbed to the disease. A total of 68 persons are still receiving treatment at the Wenlock hospital.
