Kasargod: Four including one murder accused under trial have been pronounced with three years and six months of imprisonment along with a penalty of Rs 2,000 each by the District Sessions Court, on Wednesday, February 10.
The gang had attacked Kasargod Sub Jail warden on November 20, 2012 and escaped from the jail.
The convicts are Thekkan Rajan alias Thangachan (62), Mohommed Iqbal from Manjeshwar (31), Rajesh (34) from Karadka Karmathodi and Mohommed Rashid (32) from Hosabettu.
Mohommed Iqbal is facing charges of murder.
The four have been convicted in connection to five separate criminal cases.
