Kasargod: A gang of four members intercepted a car while being armed with lethal weapons on December 3. They flashed their weapons at the occupants of the car and robbed them.
One of the four perpetrators was arrested on December 4 and has been identified as Abdul Samadani. The arrested accused is the centre of a few other cases including a brawl at a petrol bunk and creating a disturbance in the jail.
The other three members of the gang that intercepted the car are currently being hunted down by the police.
Muhammed Haris accompanied by his friend Farooq, were on the way to visit a religious centre in Payyannur on December 3, when the gang of four stopped their car at Nayammarumoole, on NH 66, after which the gang proceeded to rob them.
