Hijab-clad girls not allowed to take exams in M’luru college

Mangaluru: A controversy over Hijab has erupted at St. Raymond’s College, Vamanjoor here on Monday March 21.

The college administration allegedly denied the Hijab-clad girls from writing examination on Monday. The teachers stopped the students from entering the class.

Earlier, students had written two examinatiins wearing Hijab, and were denied permission to write exams only today, alleged students.

The angry parents of the students staged a protest at the college, and demanded transfer certificate of their wards.
