Mangaluru: Muslim students held a protest outside a college in Ullal here on Friday February 24 as they were not allowed to enter the premises as they were wearing hijab.
Students sat outside the college gate and were firm that they would continue to wear Hijab till the High court’s final orders.
In order to control the situation, the police officials visited the spot, and the students got into heated with the police. Mangaluru MLA U. T. Khader also visited the college and had a meeting with the college administration.
