Udupi: Hollywood bride Jaimyse Haft, an actress who has over 80 films to her credit and Cameroon, an Ayurveda practitioner and Yoga guru entered into marital bless in the presence of Goddess Mookambika at Sri Gopalakrishna in Kollur on Thursday, February 20.
Speaking to the media persons after their Hindu traditional marriage ceremony, the couple said that both of them always wanted an Indian wedding as both had studied about the culture of India besides the marriage rituals.
The couple, who is from Los Angeles, keeps visiting Kerala to understand and learn the rich heritage and culture of India.
Cameroon said, “I had taken up yoga education in Coimbatore,” to which Jaimyse added that she would quit her acting career and concentrate on yoga. She said, “I would also like to introduce the rich Indian culture to the western people.”
Jaimyse was always keen on acting and she had taken up some assignment in Hollywood before completely changing her lifestyle following the friendship with Cameroon that turned into love.
Priest Suresh Bhat led team traditionally and successfully completed the wedding ceremony and administered the religious rites to the couple after which both visited the temple and took blessings.
Many of their friends from Hollywood and few from Indian cinema had attended the marriage.Traditional meals was served to all during the occasion.
