In a decisive move by the rural police of the city, an illegal slaughterhouse operating on the outskirts of Valachil has been dismantled. The raid, led by Inspector Shivakumar, Arun Kumar, and their dedicated team, under the guidance of south ACP Dhanya Nayak, resulted in the apprehension of three individuals.
The arrested suspects, identified as Khader Mohammed (52), alias Monu, residing in Adyar Valachil, Ismail (27) from Maripalla, and Mohammed Shaveer (18) from Adyarpadav, were caught red-handed during the operation. Acting on a credible tip-off, law enforcement officers swiftly moved to raid Khader Mohammed’s residence, where the illegal activities were being conducted.
During the raid, a substantial quantity of evidence was seized, including 180 kg of beef. The arrested individuals have been presented before the court to face legal proceedings. This successful operation underscores the commitment of law enforcement in combating illegal activities within the community and upholding the law.
