Mangalore: Days after the news on copyright infringement was published on newskarnataka.com, the representatives of Infosys, Mysore approached noted wildlife photographer Dr. Krishna Mohan to resolve the issue ‘amicably’.

Dr. Krishna Mohan said  that a representative of Infosys, Mysore approached him on Sunday and the matter has been resolved. Dr. Krishna Mohan said they have compensated him for using his photograph. “I have agreed to withdraw all my earlier conditions. I understood from the concerned person that the usage of my picture was not intended for any financial gains”, he added.

Speaking earlier to newskarnataka.com on October 16, Dr. Krishna Mohan had claimed that Infosys, Mysore had used his copyrighted photograph for their invitation ‘Ambari – 2014’, a dasara programme. Dr. Mohan stated he clicked the photograph during the procession, which marked the immersion of Sharada idol as part of Dasara festival in Moodbidri on September 26, 2009 and he had written a letter to Infosys, demanding compensation.
