Manohar Prasad, a well-known journalist, compere, storyteller, and poet, passed away early in the morning on Friday March 1. He was 64 years old.
Manohar Prasad, a native of Karualu village, originally attended Karkala Taluk, finished college in Mangaluru, and began working as a journalist for the “Nava Bharat” newspaper. He later became a Mangaluru-based reporter for Udayavani. Afterwards, he worked as an assistant editor, bureau chief, and chief correspondent.
He served the organisation for 36 consecutive years and retired two years ago.
