Mangaluru: In an unfortunate incident occurred at Dolpady in Kaniyoor of Kadaba Taluk in Dakshina Kannada District, an 8-year-old boy succumbed to injuries after he fell from a fruit tree on Thursday March 17.
The deceased boy has been identified as Ullas D. M. He is the son of Divakar Gowda, a resident of Marakkada in Dolpady here.
It is learnt that Ullas had climbed a guava tree to pluck fruits, and had climbed the topmost branch from where he fell after he lost balance.
