Karnataka Rajyothsava was celebrated with a solemn hoisting of the state flag by Br Harish Kumar SJ, at St Aloysius PU College. Speaking on the occasion he glorified the unity in diversity that prevails in Karnataka. The Choir rendered melodious songs in honour of our state.
The Principal, Rev Fr Clifford Sequeira SJ, Vice Principals Charlotte DSouza and Muralikrishna GM, Deans Dr Pradeep M and Kiran Shetty were present on the dais. Janet Pinto, Head of Kannada and Languages Department welcomed the gathering. Deevith Kotian, Lecturer, Kannada Department compered the programme.
Keeping in mind the COVID-19 guidelines, the college also organised a virtual celebration of Kannada Rajyothsava for all the students of the college through a pre-recorded programme that was premiered in YouTube (https://youtu.be/JNyE61tZuB8)
