Mangaluru: Konaje Police have arrested an inter-state thief, while he was plying in a stolen motor vehicle at Mudipu.
The accused has been identified as Abdul Saleem(40) resident of Pavooru, Gerukatte.
The Konaje police stopped Abdul Saleem in Mudipu, while he was plying on a stolen motor bike.
Later, when police inquired the accused, he revealed that he was using a stolen bike with changed number plate.
Abdul Saleem is also an accused in robbery at Manjeshwara, Bekal, Badiyadka in Kerala, Konaje, Puttur and Bantwal limits. Though the court has issued warrant against him, he remained at large.
The accused is also wanted in robbery cases in Manjeshwara Pathoor, Manchi, Manjanadi and various other places.
Police have confiscated the stolen bike and other commodities.
