Mangaluru: In a sweeping move, the state government has undertaken a major overhaul of the police department, transferring 35 IPS officers overnight. This comes shortly after the transfer of 10 IPS officers from the 2018, 2019, and 2020 batches just two days ago. The new postings of these officers remain undisclosed.
As part of this restructuring, Mangaluru Police Commissioner Kuldeep Kumar Jain has been reassigned, and Anupam Agarwal has taken over as the new Mangaluru City Police Commissioner.
