Manasa Amusement and Water Park at Pilikula reopens for public

Mangaluru: Manasa Amusement and Water Park at Pilikula reopened on February 26 at 9.00 am following a two-year closure due to the pandemic.

Commissioner of Pilikula Development Authority Venkatesh G. and Moodushedde Grama Panchayat President Jayashree were the Guests of Honour. Manasa Amusement Park Executive Director Sunil Rajgopal too was present.

Situated on 15 acres of land at Pilikula, Manasa Amusement and Water Park is the largest of its kind in South Karnataka. Entrance Plaza, Shopping Complex, Cafeteria, Family Restaurant, Locker Facility, shower and toilets for gents and ladies, etc. are available at the amusement park. Musical fountain with Rain dance in the evening from 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm, which is a new concept. If someone wants to enter only for Musical Fountain and Rain Dance, they can procure a separate ticket after 5.00 pm from the counter. However, people having the Day ticket can enjoy Musical Fountain and Rain Dance as complimentary. Along with this, seven more amusement games will be introduced in couple of months. It is also planning to introduce Conference Hall, Party Venues, Board Rooms, Open Ground for marriages and events, Luxury Cottages Inn, Lazy River, Toddler Pool and Wave Pool. The introduction of Privilege Club Membership for unlimited fun too is on the anvil.

Earlier speaking to NewsKarnataka, Park Executive Director Sunil Rajgopal informed that the park will maintain social distancing, avoid crowding and place sanitisers at entrance and also inside the campus abiding by the Covid – 19 restrictions.

There are special packages for children of different grades, and 50 per cent discount offer for senior citizens. This apart, there are special offers for the corporates and institutions. Pregnant ladies can enjoy the park but they are not allowed to take any rides. Park timings will be from 10.30 am to 7.00 pm.
