Mangaluru: The State Government is targeting minorities. Trade restrictions, and discrimination is practiced against Muslims in the name of Halal, said Anwar Manippady, State BJP joint spokesperson, and Former Chairman of Minority Commission.

Speaking to mediapersons, Anwar said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ is not being implemented in the State. The violation and disrespect of the rights of Muslims under the Constitution will not be tolerated, he asserted.

Anwar said, “A man had approached me to maintain silence on Waqf property grabbing. He asked me how much money do you want. However, I have not bowed down to corruption, and I stand by the minorities and demand the implementation of the report. Despite the High Court’s order, the Government is not implementing a report on Waqf property grabbing. I will tell the truth as long as I am alive, even if I am thrown out of the party. I challenge them to do it. I will question the injustice in the party and fight for the minorities. Don’t mislead people and cause communal riots. In Bappanadu, everyone was together. But now the unity of the traders has been broken. Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa and the present CM Bommai are also anti-minorities.
