Mangaluru: Argument between Corporator’s husband and locals in connectiin with alleged attempt to grab playground on Government land at Karmika Nagar, Pachanady on the outskirts of the City.
Two acres of Government land has been converted into a playground. It is alleged that an attempt was made to construct an illegal house on the land. Locals thus protested against attempts to grab government land.
The Corporator’s husband, who came to the spot, had an argument with the locals. Pachanady Corporator Sangeetha Nayak then assured that it will continue as a playground. The construction of the house was not noticed, clarified Corporator Sangeetha.
