Mangaluru: An autorickshaw driver died on spot in the late hours of Monday, September 12 as the vehicle lost control and fell into a pit.
The deceased has been identified as Sapalya (70) from Someshwar.
On Monday late night, reportedly, Sapalya had gone to drop a passenger at Deralakatte. Sapalya was returning from Deralakatte after dropping a passenger, and he lost control of the vehicle near Assisi Central School resulting in autorickshaw toppling. Sapalya suffered major injuries and thus succumbed to the injuries.
Mangaluru South Traffic Police Station registered a case.
