Mangaluru: Banned MDMA transportation, two arrested

Mangaluru: The Ullal Police has arrested two persons for allegedly transporting the banned MDMA at the Uchila Reliance Petrol Pump. A sum of Rs. 95,000 was recovered from them. Valuables too have been seized.

The arrested have been identified as Mohammed Khalid (39) of Azadnagar 1st Cross in Ullal and Likith (21) of Manjeshwara.

Ullal Police has arrested two men who were trying to sell drugs at the Uchila Reliance Petrol Pump in Someshwara Village.

The two youth were on their way from Talapady to Uchila Reliance Petrol Pump in a Deo scooter with MDMA. While at the pump, the Ullal Police intercepted the scooter and caught the two accused.

10 grams worth Rs. 20,000 were seized from them. A scooter worth Rs. 50,000, and a mobile phone worth Rs. 25,000 have been seized. The arrested persons have cases of attempt to murder and sale of ganja against them at Ullal Police Station.
