Mangaluru: Sri Rama Sene Founder President Pramod Muthalik said that a BJP office-bearer in Karkala Taluk has purchased a benami property at a cost of Rs. 4 Crore. Hence he has lodged a complaint with the Deputy Commissioner seeking a thorough probe into the alleged involvement of a Minister in the case.

Speaking to mediapersons in Udupi, he said that the couple, who had no income, had purchased land at a cost of about Rs. 4 Crore using political influence. Now this place has been declared as an industrial zone. Therefore, there is a big political conspiracy behind the purchase of this land and making it an industrial zone,” he alleged.

“Therefore, we have lodged a complaint with the Deputy Commissioner and the Lokayukta, seeking a thorough probe into the matter,” he asserted.
