Mangaluru: Bengaluru-Kannur train delayed due to engine failure

Mangaluru: The Bengaluru-Kannur train was delayed by 6 hours after experiencing an engine failure on Saturday October 1 while passing through Soluru.

According to sources, the train which departed at 9.30 pm from Bengaluru, was on its way to Kannur. The engine failed owing to a technical issue when the train came near Soluru,

After almost six hours, the problem was fixed. The train that was expected to arrive in Kannur at 7.10 am arrived at the station around 12.15 pm. The delay caused a lot of trouble for the passengers.
