Mangaluru: The silver jubilee celebrations of Bantwal Catholic Credit Co-operative Society (BCC) will be held at Bantar Bhavana, Thumbay here on Sunday October 2 from 5.30 pm onwards.
The programme will be inaugurated by Minister for Co-operation S. T. Somashekar. The programme will be presided over by Jeevan Lloyd Pinto, President, Bantwal Catholic Credit Co-operative Society (BCA). Retired Bishop of Mangaluru, the most revered Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza will deliver the blessings.
Lok Sabha Member Francisco Sardinha will be specially present on the occasion. SCDCC President M. N. Rajendra Kumar will play the lead role. Dakshina Kannada District In-Charge Minister V. Sunil Kumar will release the website.
Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik, Mangaluru MLA U. T. Khader, Belthangady MLA Harish Poonja, Former Minister B..Ramanath Rai, Vicar-General of the Diocese of Mangaluru, The Most Venerable Maxim Noronha, Ligori Lobo, Founder President of Bantwal Catholic Credit Co-operative Society (LTD), Praveen B. Nayak, Deputy Controller of Co-operative Societies, Mangaluru, Sudhir Kumar J., Assistant Sub-Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Mangaluru and others will be present.
A comedy show by Umesh Mijar of Bale Telipale fame will be held from 5.30 pm onwards and a musical rasamanjari by Iqbal and Roopa Prakash Mahadevan will be held from 9.00 pm onwards.
