Mangaluru: Deputy leader of the opposition in the State Assembly, criticised the BJP governments in the Central and State Governments on Friday December 9 for failing to settle the border dispute in Belagavi between Karnataka and Maharashtra.
Speaking to mediapesons he urged the Centre to take immediate action to address the situation.
He alleged that since Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is not making bold decisions on the issue, Kannadigas along the border are suffering.
The Congress leader said the government should explain why they are unable to come up with a solution to the issue, alleging that the Chief Minister is failing the people of the state by not taking a tough stance on the issue.
