Mangaluru: City bus staff shows sincerity, returns gold bangles to woman

Mangaluru: In a bizarre incident, a 18-gram gold bangles, which were lost in a bus, were returned to owner by Police with the help of the bus conductor and the driver.

Taslima, a resident of B. C. Road, had lost her gold bangles weighing 18 grams while travelling in a Shalimar 44C bus from Mangaluru to Ullal on January 1. The incident took place at the Taj Mahal Auditorium in Ullal when he was on his way to a wedding ceremony.
Bus driver Nisar Ahmed and conductor Ibrahim Manjanady had brought the gold bangles found in the bus to the notice of the bus owner Abdul Razzaque. He came to Ullal Police Station on January 2 and gave away the gold.

Taslima, the woman who lost her gold, came to the Police Station. The lost gold was returned in the presence of Sub-inspector Shivu Kumar.
