Mangaluru: The guaranteed promises made by the Congress party will be fulfilled if our government comes to power. The party will respond to the plight of the people and this assurance is being given to solve the sufferings of the people who have been affected by the policies of the BJP Government, said Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee Secretary Savita Ramesh.
She was speaking at the Prajadhvani Yatra programme held at Kukkaje Junction in Bantwal.
Speaking on the occasion, Former Minister B. Ramanath Rai said, “I have earned the love and confidence of the people of the constituency and I will not make false promises. The Congress Party has given schemes like free electricity and loan waiver to farmers, but we have not yet announced an unrealistic scheme. I didn’t make crores of rupees in politics, I didn’t do commission percentage politics, and also this is my last election,” he added.
