Mangaluru: A contract labourer hired by contractor under a Petrochemicals company died in a mishap on Wednesday June 22.
The deceased has been identified as Keshav Kotian (49), a resident of Kana near Surathkal in the City outskirts. According to sources, he was allegedly injured while discharging his duty as a crane was being repaired on the spot. He succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital.
A case has been registered at the Surathkal Police Station against contracting company.
